Ladies walk 2022.
Developed into a painting from my #repetitionproject digital series. Acrylic mixed media on canvas 92cm x 92 approx. The stories are supplied around the edge of the canvas and the AR film plays through the Artivive app. 
 
The bridge at Ladies Walk (North Andover) is a Grade II listed structure b.uilt in 1851 to carry 'The Ladies Walk' over the Micheldever Road. A grey lady is said to haunt the location and is part of Andover folklore, many variations of a lady's death on or from the bridge make it a vehicle for storytelling.  The ethereal feel to the bridge in its location, its height above the road, the delicate nature of the iron work, the stillness felt from the landscape makes it a place of many in-betweens.
